Crackers came from the Alamagordo, NM shelter. He belonged to a homeless guy, named John and hung out with him for a couple of years. John disappeared in February without Crackers so the cops picked him up (they knew both of them) and brought him to the shelter and kept him there hoping John would show up. Crackers was very depressed and then fostered still hoping for John's return. After a while Crackers was released to our rescue and adopted right away.
