Joan was born on a Texas farm and enjoyed the freedom of roaming, being with her siblings as well as other dogs. Joan is very people friendly, outgoing and wants a human to love although a little shy at first, she responds well to patience and attention.

She has never been in a house or was walked on a leash. A halter would probably work best for her. She needs training, some patience and lots of love. She will learn quickly especially if there is another trained dog in the house. Joan is good with other dogs, cats as well as small farm animals.
