 Jonah has an interesting story- he was plucked out of the middle of a very large lake in Texas, nearly drowned & exhausted from trying to swim to shore. Apparently someone dumped him off their boat & left him to die. Dumping dogs in TX is quite common, happens all the time, but this one was awful. A fisherman saw him him & fished him out, but could not locate his owners and could not keep him. My foster saw his posts & offered to take him. He's been down there for the last couple months, getting cleaned up, healthy, putting on weight & vetted. He's guessed to be about 1 or 1.5 yrs old, we got him neutered, de-wormed, unmatted & heart worm tested (neg). He's very mellow and sweet, gets along well with other dogs & all people. We named him Jonah (the biblical story- he was NOT ever in a whale!).
